I do have a few design "inclinations" that I bring to every design problem:

- minimal, "clean" lines over or- nate detailing
- juxtaposition of materials and textures (hard and soft, or- ganic and man-made) to cre- ate interest
- the appeal of "warm" materi- als (wood, rough concrete).
